10 Things I don't like About Wii U

1) Update is big, but it’s new. 45mins that you can do other things while you wait. While annoying it’s a one-time item that won't affect users in a couple months at all.

2) OS delay... it’s not that of a thing. It’s only apparent when going from wiiu menu to a new application. I don't think that is very different from other OSs when the apps are loading. The message posting and other in game loading also doesn't seem out of the ordinary. Idk. Maybe I'm missing something here. But initial app loads do have a delay.

3) Netflix. Yeah it could be a lot more and hopefully Netflix will tailor it more uniquely later. However, it does work very well and far better than my PS3 did.

4) Agreed. At least he AC plug has a long cord and I have it plugged next to my couches; not by console. This allows me easy access to it as it’s a great tablet/TV remote device along with the gaming applications. So my first day where the whole family had it on literally the whole day wasn't an issue with battery life at all.

5) Wow that is odd that they would flag urls. Maybe they don't want people spamming the system with ads etc so all urls are reviewed. Try just using the names vs the actual url/links.

6) My wii to wiiu transfer was easy and took like 10mins max, and I read ALL the instructions carefully. I also have over 40 VC and 10 WW games.

7) It plays just like the Wii. What's sub-optimal about that? Currently Nintendo is the only console manufacturer to include 100% BC.

8) ONE item doesn't work yet. oh noes.... NTVii is coming in a week or so and you can use hulu and others through the browser still (btw, a browser that is almost as good as a PC one... nothing on a game console even comes close to this one)

9) I've had zero issues with fingers and sensitivity. neither has any of my kids 6/9/10 or numerous other nephews and brothers who were all over yesterday for the whole day. In fact I banned use of the stylus as I want soft fingers only.

10) Friend list was part of initial setup. At least i jumped into every app before I played games, but yeah it probably should have simply opened that up for you. Once done, it’s VERY easy to add anyone to your list. Easier than my PS3 was in fact.
